… "Romeo and Juliet written by the contemporary Venetian composer: Mr Vittorio Vedovato. This short symphonic poem but also captivating and full of involving timbres, is pervaded by a sequence of orchestral crescendo that represent the tumults of love of the famous two lovers that will lead them to their death. There's lot of pathos in this beautiful musical score that deserves to be performed more and more, welcomed by the audience with an ovation to the author that is in the audience. He graduated in piano with Sergio Chiereghin, in Organ and Organ Composition with Renzo Buia, in Choral Music and Choral Conducting with Antonio Zanon at the Conservatory of Music 'Pollini' di Padua. He graduated at the University of Bologna in Arts, Music and Entertainment with Renato di Benedetto and Umberto Eco, with a thesis on the figure and the work of Sergej Rachmaninov, that it's been appreciated by the Oxford University Press, Music Department. He has become an important critic for his piano ability as a brilliant and refined arranger and for his compositional production with a symphonic, chamber music and choral character.
His compositions were performed by these orchestras: Fondazione Arena, Filarmonica of Irkutsk, Virtuosi Italiani, Filarmonica of Verona, Filarmonica Veneta, Accademia Secolo XXI, Orchestra 'Città di Verona', with the orchestra conductors: Francesco Ivan Ciampa, Ilmar Lapinsch, Roberto Gianola, Giorgio Croci, Enrico De Mori, with the soloists: Alberto Martini, Piotr Cwojdzinski, Marzia Ferraro, Stefano Musini, etc. As a pianist, we have to remember the concerts he did in Rome (Palazzo Barberini, Palazzo Brancaccio, Foro Italico), in Bologna (Circolo Culturale Bolognese), in Moscow (Crocus City), with a various playlist, from 'Fantasies and Intermezzi d'opere' to movies' soundtracks.
In 2017 he inaugurated the concert season of the Puccini Festival in Torre del Lago performing his 'Fantasia Pucciniana' and in the same year he completed the orchestration of the opera 'La Tunguska mistermiosa' in 3 acts to a libretto by Emilio Spedicato. In 2019 the Accademia Filarmonica of Verona commissioned him a Suite from Puccini's opera Madama Butterfly. In his wide range of piano repertoire there are pieces of opera music in which he's really a specialist in his personal performances of Fantasies and Intermezzi d'opera and he's an elaborator of evocative arrangements of soundtracks, songs, operettas.
